District Connections

Upcoming Events

How it Works: Sign up for any event that you are able to attend. Your sign up = one entry into a lottery for a ticket to that event. At the conclusion of the sign up period (October 30 for the November events), we will randomly select the confirmed participants from all of the sign-up submissions. Anyone not selected to participate will be added to the waitlist. You will receive a notification of your status (confirmed or waitlist). Only first year students are eligible to participate, unless noted otherwise. Questions about sign up? Email [email protected]

Cancellation Policy: If your participation is confirmed and you need to cancel your ticket, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours prior to the event start time by emailing [email protected]. If the event is on a Sunday or Monday, you must cancel no later than 5:00pm on the Friday prior, as weekend cancellations make it difficult to fill openings from the waitlist. Late cancellations and no-shows will result in a $15 fee added to your student account. This is to minimize the number of wasted tickets and maximize the number of students that are able to enjoy these experiences.

Sign-Ups for November are now closed. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for any November event, please email [email protected]. The December schedule is now live.

Kishi Bashi Headshot

Kishi Bashi

LINCOLN THEATRE / Omoiyari is Kishi Bashi’s fourth album -- following the acclaimed 151a (2012), Lighght (2014), and Sonderlust (2016), which have garnered serious acclaim from outlets including NPR Music, The Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian -- and his most important yet. Many of the songs were initially inspired by history and oppression, and he deftly weaves tales of love, loss, and wanting to connect listeners to the past. Channeling the hard-learned lessons of history, Omoiyari is an uncompromising musical statement on the turbulent sociopolitical atmosphere of present-day America.

Sasha Velour

Sasha Velour's Smoke and Mirrors Show

LINCOLN THEATRE / Sasha Velour is a gender-fluid drag queen. Velour won season 9 of the Emmy-winning reality TV competition, Rupaul’s Drag Race. "Smoke & Mirrors,” Sasha Velour's first one-queen theatre tour, is an effortless blend of drag, visual art, and magic. Velour introduces audiences to a whole new side of her artistry, through 13 dazzling and genre-busting lip-synch performances, all directed and choreographed by the queen herself. You’ll be on the edge of your seat as she explodes into rose petals, vanishes in a poof of smoke, saws herself in half, conjures a rainstorm, even transforms into a tree in front of your eyes (to name just a few). But the real magic is the way that these illusions and deceptions serve to unmask deeper truths, sparking fresh analysis of gender, fame, family, and the importance of dreaming big and living life over-the-top.
