Abrahms Family Fund

Eligibility: All undergraduate students

The Abrahms Family Fund is designed to provide Colonial Cash on an emergency basis to students who have spent their allotment of food money for the semester. A student may request an increase in funding to add Colonial Cash.

Students should meet with Student Financial Assistance to apply for this award.

Ronald W. Howard Student Assistance Fund

Eligibility: Full-time undergraduate students or graduate students who participate in extracurricular activities with verified unmet need

The Ronald W. Howard Student Assistance Fund was established in 1999 by a group of George Washington University alumni to honor the memory of Ron Howard and his long history of service and dedication to GW students while a GW staff member. Mr. Howard helped students in need from of his own personal resources while he was alive. The fund was established by university alumni in his memory to help undergraduate students with extraordinary financial need.

To qualify, a student must be enrolled in a full-time, undergraduate or a graduate program at GW and participate in extracurricular activities. A qualified student must have verified unmet need according to Student Financial Assistance. The funds may not be used towards tuition.
