Join us for a week packed with unforgettable events, from Senior Class Toast to Senior Cruise, this week is all about honoring your achievements and the friendships you've built along the way.
Thursday, May 7th
Sweet Senior Farewell
It's time for Grad with the Dean with Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students Colette Coleman! This year, we’re excited to celebrate you and all that you’ve accomplished with a meaningful and memorable Sweet Senior Farewell. Our sweets station featuring gourmet Swedish candy will be the cherry on top of this “sweet farewell” pop-up for you and your fellow graduates. As part of the celebration, you’ll have the opportunity to write a “Letter to a First-Year Student” where you can leave behind advice, encouragement, and reflections for incoming students, fostering a lasting sense of legacy and community.
Supper Club with GW
Senior Supper Club: Seafood Boil Edition
Join GW Dining for our Second Annual Senior Week Supper Club—an event we’re building into a lasting tradition for the graduating class. This year’s Chesapeake-inspired seafood boil features locally sourced blue crab, GW signature favorites, and an all-you-care-to-eat experience designed to celebrate your final days on campus.
We’re taking over Potomac Square for the night with a live DJ, photo booth, and one last chance to gather with friends over great food before graduation.
$10 entry (Dining Dollars, credit, or debit). Limited spots available.
Friday, May 8th
MSSC Grad Cap Decorating
Come decorate your grad caps with MSSC on May 8th from 12 pm - 2 pm! We will provide the supplies and the snacks, and all you have to bring is your cap! Come with cap inspo or find your design while we are here. Take these moments to spend with your friends before you walk the stage! Can't wait to see you there!
Senior Dodgeball
This Senior Week the schoolyard classic, Dodgeball, is back on the 4th Floor of the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. Join us May 8th from 1-4pm to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way to the championship and one last chance at the coveted IM Champ shirt. Seniors only!
Senior Cruise with District Taco
All aboard! The Senior Cruise is back! District Taco is bringing the Class of 2026 aboard their newest boats for a trip around the Potomac. Get ready for a night of dancing, making memories with friends, and witnessing some #OnlyatGW views! Tickets to attend this event are $20, and includes your ticket to the boat, and two free drinks! This event fills up fast, so be sure to RSVP as soon as you can!
Senior Karaoke at Tonic
Calling all seniors! Join us for a night of epic karaoke at Tonic – your chance to sing your heart out and create unforgettable memories. Whether you’re a pop star in the making or just here for the laughs, we can’t wait to see you there! Please note - due to space capacity limits, this is an event with limited spots! Show up early, and start reherasing your performance!

Senior Brunch with Sixty Vines
Seniors, it's time for brunch! Help us celebrate graduation with a brunch at Sixty Vines, enjoy exclusive deals like $3 signature cocktails, 10% off food, and an optional $25 mimosa bar with fresh juice and fruit. Stop by, bring your friends, and get ready for an afternoon of fun! RSVPing does not guarantee a table; this event is first-come first-serve.
Monday, May 11th
Meditate with a Monk
Join Rev. Mathale Amitha Khema for guided meditation sessions designed to help you pause, breathe, and recharge. Open to all experience levels, these gatherings offer a welcoming space to cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and reconnect with a sense of calm and balance throughout the semester.
All students, faculty, and staff are welcome. No prior meditation experience required.
Resumania & Headshot Coffee Break
Stop by the 5th floor of the USC, grab a coffee, and get your resume and headshot ready for whatever's next. Resumania and Headshot Coffee Break is a drop-in event where you can get real-time resume feedback from career coaches, snag a professional headshot, and refuel with snacks. No appointment needed. Come as you are!
First-Gen Senior Photos
Join us for the First-Gen Graduation Photos event, where graduating seniors will have the opportunity to take professional photos in their cap and gown, as well as an additional outfit of their choice. Students will be able to take one photo in their graduation attire and one in an outfit of their choice, so we encourage them to have both ready for their scheduled time slot. Each student will receive a short time slot to capture a few high-quality images to commemorate this important milestone.
Senior Laser Tag
Light it up this Senior Week with one last round of Laser Tag! Join us on the 4th Floor of the Lerner Health and Wellness May 11th from 6-8pm to end your semester in style. All equipment will be provided but spots are limited to seniors only!
Senior Trivia at Tonic
Think you’ve got the best trivia skills? Come show us at Senior Trivia Night at Tonic! Grab a drink, team up with friends, and put your knowledge to the test with some fun and challenging questions. See you there!
Tuesday, May 12th
Senior Class Toast
Senior Toast is a chance to celebrate the graduating class and everything you’ve accomplished. Join us for an afternoon toast, light food, and a champagne toast with your classmates!
First-Gen Class Photo
Join us for a celebratory Senior Class Photo as we bring together the Class of 2026 to mark this important milestone. This event offers graduating seniors a chance to come together for a large group photo to commemorate their time at GW and celebrate their achievements alongside their peers. This will serve as a meaningful keepsake for students as they prepare to graduate and reflect on their journey.
Wednesday, May 13th
Back to the Vern
Former Vernies are invited back to the Mount Vernon Campus to reminisce and celebrate their GW journey. Join us for food, giveaways, and to toast to the graduates!
Last Night
It’s the last night, and you won’t want to miss out! This year's Last Night tradition is bigger and better: bring your friends and families to enjoy our margarita bar, arcade games, and more! Let's close out Senior Week with the best night yet!

Uber Vouchers
To support a safe and celebratory Senior Week, Wellbeing@GW is partnering with Uber to offer a late-night transportation program for graduating seniors.
From May 8–10, between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m., GW seniors can receive $15 off one Uber ride. The voucher is available on a first-come, first-served basis. With our Senior Week RevRide, seniors can celebrate responsibly and get where they need to go safely.
Bodega Discounts
Tacos, margs, and graduation - oh my! Bodega is helping us celebrate the Class of 2026 with brand new food and drink specials for graduates!
