Senior year is the grand finale of your GW journey, and it’s all about celebrating how far you’ve come. It's a time to reflect on your accomplishments, create unforgettable memories, and cherish the friendships you’ve made along the way. Senior Year Bucketlist
  1.   Attend the annual Senior Week events
  2.   Participate in the Senior Toast at the end of the year
  3.   Take a ghost tour of D.C. to discover its haunted history
  4.   Visit the iconic Gelman Library one last time for a study session
  5.   Take senior portraits on the National Mall
  6.   Recreate a photo from your first year on campus
  7.   Capture a group photo at the George Washington statue
  8.   Visit the rooftop of the Elliott School for a final view of the city
  9.   Experience a performance at the Lisner Auditorium
  10.   Enjoy a sunset at the Lincoln Memorial with friends
  11.   Attend the graduation ceremony and celebrate with family and friends
  12.   Create a memory book with friends featuring photos and stories from your time at GW

Sweet Senior Farewell

It's time for Grad with the Dean with Vice President for Student Affairs & Dean of Students Colette Coleman! This year, we’re excited to celebrate you and all that you’ve accomplished with a meaningful and memorable Sweet Senior Farewell. Our sweets station featuring gourmet Swedish candy will be the cherry on top of this “sweet farewell” pop-up for you and your fellow graduates.  As part of the celebration, you’ll have the opportunity to write a “Letter to a First-Year Student” where you can leave behind advice, encouragement, and reflections for incoming students, fostering a lasting sense of legacy and community.

Supper Club with GW

Senior Supper Club: Seafood Boil Edition
Join GW Dining for our Second Annual Senior Week Supper Club—an event we’re building into a lasting tradition for the graduating class. This year’s Chesapeake-inspired seafood boil features locally sourced blue crab, GW signature favorites, and an all-you-care-to-eat experience designed to celebrate your final days on campus.
We’re taking over Potomac Square for the night with a live DJ, photo booth, and one last chance to gather with friends over great food before graduation.

This Senior Week the schoolyard classic, Dodgeball, is back on the 4th Floor of the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. Join us May 8th from 1-4pm to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way to the championship and one last chance at the coveted IM Champ shirt. Seniors only!

Senior Cruise with District Taco

All aboard! The Senior Cruise is back! District Taco is bringing the Class of 2026 aboard their newest boats for a trip around the Potomac. Get ready for a night of dancing, making memories with friends, and witnessing some #OnlyatGW views! Tickets to attend this event are $20, and includes your ticket to the boat, and two free drinks! This event fills up fast, so be sure to RSVP as soon as you can!

Resumania and Headshot Coffee Break is a drop-in event where you can get real-time resume feedback from career coaches, snag a professional headshot, and refuel with snacks. No appointment needed. First-Gen Senior Photos

Join us for the First-Gen Graduation Photos event, where graduating seniors will have the opportunity to take professional photos in their cap and gown, as well as an additional outfit of their choice. Students will be able to take one photo in their graduation attire and one in an outfit of their choice, so we encourage them to have both ready for their scheduled time slot. Each student will receive a short time slot to capture a few high-quality images to commemorate this important milestone.

Uber Vouchers

To support a safe and celebratory Senior Week, Wellbeing@GW is partnering with Uber to offer a late-night transportation program for graduating seniors.

From May 8–10, between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m., GW seniors can receive $15 off one Uber ride. The voucher is available on a first-come, first-served basis. With our Senior Week RevRide, seniors can celebrate responsibly and get where they need to go safely.
