After applying for admission and confirming your enrollment, your next step toward a successful GW journey begins with Orientation. We’re here to welcome and support you—whether you're a full-time First-Year or Transfer student, or one of their parents, families, or supporters. Orientation sets you up for success as you officially start your GW experience!
First Year Students

Transfer Students
As a transfer student, you bring valuable experiences, and we’re thrilled to welcome you to GW. Transfer Orientation will provide tailored support, resources, and opportunities to connect with other transfer students and build your GW community.
Families, Parents and Supporters
Families play a vital role in a student’s college journey. While your student attends New Student Orientation, we invite you to join us for New Family Orientation. Students may bring two guests and will register on your behalf. Join us to learn how to support your GW student!
