Transfer Orientation
As a transfer student, you bring valuable experiences, and we’re thrilled to welcome you to GW. Transfer Orientation will provide tailored support, resources, and opportunities to connect with other transfer students and build your GW community.
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
New Student Orientation (NSO) is a required, in-person program for all new incoming students joining us for the 2026-2027 academic year. Transfer students must attend New Student Orientation taking place on August 19, 2026. It is a one-day event, with a schedule that will be shared after checking in to the program on that day.
Registration for New Student Orientation is now open in your Admitted Student Portal! Orientation is a required program for all new students. Failure to attend your session will result in an academic hold placed on your account!
Families and supporters will register separately for New Families Orientation.
