Sustainability on the Vern

The Mount Vernon Campus is located in a beautiful natural setting, which roots our community in environmental stewardship. Our partnerships with GW’s Alliance for a Sustainable Future and Office of Sustainability support a growing number of initiatives to promote sustainability on the Vern.

The Loop

The Loop, located in the Academic Building 122, is GW’s free clothing exchange. It’s a thrift store and more with programming that connects the Vern community with events such as the Responsible Fashion Collective’s fashion show in Post Hall or a Tiny Dorm concert.
