Reservable Spaces
Effective January 5, 2026, GW's Events & Venues serves as the centralized scheduling office for all non-academic spaces on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses. All space requests should be submitted through the Events & Venues website using the updated request forms.

Comprised of the University Student Center, District House, Outdoor Spaces, and the Mount Vernon Campus, the Division for Student Affairs manages a variety of spaces for students to hold events. From student organization chapter meetings to guest lectures, performances, late night parties and everything in between, we are here to help your event be successful. You can also find dining options and an array of spaces to hang out and meet up with your classmates and friends.

University Student Center
From study rooms to meeting spaces, large ballrooms and theaters, the University Student Center offers a variety of spaces for students to study, work, and socialize.
District House
One of GW’s newest buildings and second-largest residence hall, District House features small meeting rooms, medium-sized event spaces, and a large dance studio.
Outdoor Spaces
Perfect for enjoying the fresh air and sun while studying or hanging out with friends, GW's Foggy Bottom campus offers a variety of outdoor spaces, available on a first-come first-serve or reservation basis.
Lerner Health & Wellness Center
If an individual or organization is interested in reserving a space in LHWC for an event that they are hosting, please submit requests through the DSE scheduling platform.
Mount Vernon Campus Spaces
The Mount Vernon Campus is ready to host your next event, whether that is a meeting, conference, reception, or any other type.
Classroom Spaces
General purpose classrooms on the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses are available for reservation through the Academic Scheduling Office.
