The FAC collaborates closely with the Vice President and Dean of Students and the Division for Student Affairs to offer insights that inform university priorities and initiatives.

Support Student Success

Through ongoing feedback and advocacy, the FAC supports efforts that enhance student engagement, mental health, academic success, and a supportive campus environment.

Philanthropic Impact

The FAC demonstrates strong commitment to the undergraduate experience through annual contributions that fund programs, resources, and initiatives.

"As Chair of the Family Advisory Council, I cherish the insider’s peek at the depth, breadth, strategy and care given to our students' future success. Through the work of this dynamic group, the university is able to capitalize on the talents of FAC families, while parents in turn support the important work of the Division of Students Affairs.

Vice President Coleman’s attention to large strategic initiatives, tied to daily, personal, student interactions, consistently inspire me to support GW, confident that GW is the perfect academic home for my son and all our students."
