Find joyful movement, enhance well-being, and receive individualized guidance and support with GW's personal training program. With four highly experienced and extensively educated trainers, you'll receive the guidance you need to improve your health while meeting your goals.
Our mission is the enhance the overall health and quality of life of individuals of the GW community and guests of the Lerner Health & Wellness center. Through fitness and movement, we seek to contribute to individual's long-term physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth.

What to Expect
- Consultation
A session where your trainer solely dedicates their attention to uncovering what you're looking for in your personal training experience and to determine how to best guide you toward where you're looking to go. This includes discussing your goals and health related habits as well as a quick yet highly informative movement assessment.
- Individualized Programming
After your consultation session, your trainer will create a program individualized for you based on your goals, exercise history, and movement assessment to best support your goal achievement and overall wellbeing. As long as you are engaging in regular sessions with your trainer, you will have access to their programming for you. If you're looking for only a consultation or a few sessions followed by a program to follow individually, packages will be available for this in the near future.
- Accountability
Many people find one of the most valuable aspects of working with a trainer to be the accountability component. To know that there is an appointment set with a supportive professional is a top way to increase the motivation and consistency needed to make lasting changes in your health and fitness. You will discuss with your trainer how accountability works best for you and your trainer will be supportive and understanding throughout the entire process.
- Expert Instruction
Our trainers understand the most cutting-edge fitness methods and techniques and are skilled communicators in explaining what to do any why in a manner that makes sense to you.
- Partnership
Ask your trainer questions, challenge them when something doesn't make sense to you, bring up ideas for what you think might work well for you. Your trainer understands that so much of wellbeing is being able to listen to one's body and finding what works best for oneself. Your trainer is enthusiastic about hearing about your experience to partner with you to find the specific practices that work best for you.

- One session: $60
- Three sessions: $180 / $60 per session
- Six sessions: $330 / $55 per session
- Twelve sessions: $600 / $50 per session
- Faculty/Staff
- One session: $80
- Three sessions: $240 / $80 per session
- Six sessions: $450 / $75 per session
- Twelve sessions: $840 / $70 per session

- One session: $85
- Three sessions: $255 / $85 per session
- Six sessions: $480 / $80 per session
