Dear Students,
As we near the end of the spring semester, we are sharing important information regarding the use of campus spaces during finals to help ensure all students have a supportive space to prepare for exams with limited distractions.
As in previous semesters, University Yard and Kogan Plaza will be 24-Hour Quiet Areas with adjusted availability for activities due to their proximity to many study spaces and classrooms. These locations are unavailable for planned or unplanned events, programming, and other activities on the following dates:
University Yard | Wednesday, April 16 - Thursday, May 1
Kogan Plaza | Wednesday, April 30 - Sunday, May 11
Making any excessive noise either inside or outside a building remains prohibited under the Code of Student Conduct at all times. Excessive noise includes but is not limited to shouting, pounding objects or surfaces, or playing music or other electronics at a loud volume in a manner that disturbs others.
Individuals or student organizations wishing to host events or activities during the period of dates listed above may continue to book other reservable spaces through the Division for Student Affairs.
