Dear Students,
Last spring, the Division for Student Affairs initiated a review of the Code of Student Conduct and solicited feedback and questions about the current version of the Code from students, faculty, and staff.
With this feedback and guidance from external subject matter experts, the Code has been revised, and the university is inviting GW community members to provide additional feedback on the new Code draft beginning today through Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Learn more and provide your feedback on the Code review website.
Student Forums
DSA also invites current GW students to learn and ask questions about the proposed revisions to the Code in preparation of providing feedback. Please RSVP to one of the sessions below.

Instructions for providing feedback, additional details about the feedback received in the spring, and guidance for comments we are seeking can be found on the Code review website. The diverse perspectives of members of our entire community are a very important part of this process.

Sincerely,
